Therapy Rates & Insurance

Most couples arrive here having already spent significant time and money on therapy. They’ve diligently attended each session, one at a time, with no clear path and uncertain results. That’s not how I work.

Initial Consultation

The Initial Consultation is $240. This is a in-depth, working session. We’ll assess where things actually stand, identify what’s driving the patterns you’re stuck in, and determine which approach best fits your situation.

Relationship Recovery

This is where the real work begins. The approach I use is structured around specific, defined goals rather than open-ended sessions. The right starting point depends on your situation, which is what the initial consultation is for. Most clients complete their particular program in 3-4 months. Program available include:

Insurance

The majority of my clients prefer private pay for added confidentiality and flexibility. However, I am in-network and a “preferred provider” for PacificSource Health Plans. For all other insurance plans, I can provide specialized billing statements that you can submit for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes. I’m currently accepting new clients, ages 20 and older, for couples therapy and individual counseling.

Do you work with people outside of Oregon or Arizona?

I’m licensed to provide psychotherapy only in Oregon and Arizona. If you live elsewhere, I work with couples through structured relationship coaching.

How does insurance reimbursement work?

I’ll provide a detailed billing statement (called a SuperBill) that includes diagnosis codes and treatment information required by insurance companies. You submit this to your insurance provider to receive reimbursement using your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. I provide online therapy and virtual relationship coaching via secure video (Zoom). In fact, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in-person sessions.

What is Relationship Coaching?

Relationship Coaching is skill-focused and practical, helping partners apply communication and conflict-management tools. This is different from therapy, which explores deeper emotional injuries, mental health needs, and clinical treatment. Coaching does not replace therapy but can help couples build skills and stay accountable.
